How long does it take to reach PD3?

Reaching the PD3 exam (B2 level) is a longer process that requires consistency.

Typical timeline:
Most learners reach PD3 in around 12–18 months.

This is based on:

2–3 lessons per week

1:1 or small group teaching

Regular homework and practice

Some learners progress faster, while others need more time depending on their starting point and how much they use Danish in daily li

Already speak Danish?

If you already have a level around A2 or B1, you don’t need to start from scratch.

Many of our students in this situation reach PD3 significantly faster – often in around half the time.

We assess your level from the start, so you focus only on what you actually need.

How many lessons do you need?

As a guideline, most learners need:

Beginners (A0): 120–180 lessons in total

Basic level (A2): 80-120 lessons in total

Intermediates (B1): 50-80 lessons in total

Combined with:

2–4 hours of weekly homework
